New Features

Refresh Connection

We have added a new "Refresh Connection" feature accessible via the tray icon, designed to enhance connectivity management.

• Refresh Connection allows users to recover the connectivity of the Timus Connect agent without restarting the services.

• Unlike the Restart Service function, which restarts Timus Connect backend services entirely, Refresh Connection resolves connectivity issues by focusing on the connection state specifically.

• This functionality ensures quicker resolution of routing conflicts and connectivity issues, providing a more seamless and efficient user experience.

Enhancements

Improved Sleep & Wakeup Experience

We have enhanced the user experience when waking the computer from sleep mode, addressing issues related to VPN connectivity and split tunnel rules.

The stability of split tunnel rules has been improved, ensuring routes are consistently applied even after the computer wakes from sleep mode.

Resolved Issues

• Resolved an issue where split tunnel rules occasionally failed to apply correctly after switching between networks.

• Ensured that split tunnel rules are consistently applied when transitioning between different networks.

• Users can now confidently switch networks, knowing their split tunnel rules will be maintained as expected.

• Fixed an issue where the VPN connection would incorrectly appear as active after waking from sleep mode, ensuring an accurate connection status.

• Resolved an issue where users would receive a "Successfully Disconnected" message when pressing the connect button after waking from sleep mode.

We have implemented several minor issues to improve overall performance and user experience. These fixes address several small issues to ensure smoother and more reliable operation across the platform.
